Designing a workplace for a family-run business with more than four decades of history meant understanding that the brief was about much more than creating an efficient office. V Goyal & Associates had evolved over the years into a business where five brothers shared a common professional journey, while each had developed their own way of working. The challenge was to bring these individual requirements together within one cohesive workplace.

The planning began with this balance at its core. Each of the five brothers was given a dedicated office, allowing for privacy and focused work, while the meeting room and larger stock market dealing room were planned to support the firm's shared professional activities. Around these spaces, the central portion of the office was envisioned as the hub of everyday operations - a dedicated area for the employees, with wardrobes and storage integrated above the workstations to maximize functionality within the approximately 2,000 sq. ft. footprint.

Beyond the individual spaces, we paid close attention to how the office would feel as one unified environment. The circulation, proportions and placement of each room were carefully considered so that the office remained practical for a busy financial and broking practice without feeling crowded. Even spaces with more personal significance, such as the puja room, were given their own considered place within the overall plan.

From the first design conversations through execution and completion, the project was a collaborative process between the V Goyal & Associates team and Art Story Interiors. Our role extended from design to execution, allowing us to carry the original vision through every stage of the project. The result is a workplace that brings together the legacy of a business established in 1979 with the requirements of its present-day team - a space where five individual offices, a shared workplace and generations of professional experience come together under one roof.
